Arlo von Sparrow is a very handsome 4 year old Shepherd mix. This darling red-head with the extra-large ears is a sight for sore eyes! He is a medium-to-high energy boy who happily comes out of his kennel thinking that today might be his lucky day where he finds his forever home. He walks wonderfully on leash and, if he pulls a little in the beginning out of excitement, he listens incredibly well to corrections. Arlo’s tail wags non-stop, and he meets passing dogs well on leash. In typical shepherd fashion, this smart boy has already learned a handful of commands in his short time at Westside; they include sit, down, yes, stay and paw.” He hopes to be learning algebra soon! He is such a happy-go-lucky pup who will kiss you non-stop in return for a pat on the head. While great with meeting dogs on leash, especially with an experienced handler, Arlo can react to some dogs off-leash.
